AFLCMC/ESSK office is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to improve understanding of market landscape to identify qualified vendors capable of providing Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) capability focused on detecting low flying threats and providing fully burdened low-cost defeat options. Part of this effort will involve using a provided Software Development Kit (SDK) to perform initial integration into the Small Unmanned Aircraft Defense System (SUADS) and Medusa Command-and-Control (C2). After initially integrating the program office will be looking to illicit feedback on improvements, issues / bugs, and general suggestions for the SDK.
This RFI has three parts: (1) requested feedback on the Medusa C2 SDK, (2) requested information on Proliferated Low-Altitude Detect (PLAD) technologies, and (3) requested information on Low-Cost Kinetic Defeat (LCKD) technologies. Vendors DO NOT have to respond to all three parts. However, whichever parts vendors choose to fill out, ensure all requested inputs in that part are fully filled out.
The RFI will be used to identify potential vendors that may be offered to participate in a late May 2026 demonstration of their PLAD, LCKD and/or SDK integration capabilities to help refine government requirements. Please see Section 4 for criteria to be requested to participate in the event.
Instructions: Your submission should be organized in accordance with the instructions in this document to permit a thorough and accurate review and evaluation by the USAF. Comments, inquiries and responses to this RFI must be submitted to the USAF via electronic mail to the following: Mr. Robert Gill at [email protected] and Captain Adam Factor at [email protected].
