UPDATE - March 5, 2026: AMENDMENT 0002 ISSUED

The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to extend the deadline for receipt of offers and notify offerors of a forthcoming amendment.

• New Proposal Due Date: Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM PST.
• Forthcoming Amendment 0003: The Government is currently finalizing its responses to timely vendor Requests for Information (RFIs). A subsequent amendment (Amendment 0003) will be published prior to the new proposal due date. Amendment 0003 will include the consolidated RFI responses, updates to the Price/Cost Schedule, and a revised Statement of Work (SOW) modifying the door inventory. Offerors are advised to wait for the release of Amendment 0003 before finalizing their pricing and technical volumes.

Title: Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of Automatic and Fire-Rated Doors – VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS)

Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform comprehensive inspection, preventive maintenance (PM), testing, and repair services for automatic and fire-rated pedestrian door systems.

Scope of Work: The Contractor shall maintain all automatic sliding and swinging doors, low- and high-energy operators, motion/presence sensors, control access systems, and fire-rated pedestrian doors. Services shall ensure equipment functions safely, reliably, and in compliance with NFPA 80, NFPA 101, California Building/Fire Codes, and ANSI/BHMA A156.10 and A156.19 standards.
