VAARNG Dental Services BPA

This is a source sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualifed, potential contractos and their social -economic size classification in accordance with NASIC code 621339 Offices and All Other Miscellaneous Health Pracitioners. 

Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquistion decisions. After a review of the responses to this source sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this source sought is not a adequate reply to potentially forthcoming solicition.

The Virginia Army Natioanl Guard is seeking vendors that can provide dental services in the southwest region of the commonwelath of Virginia. No Reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing informatin in response to this Sources Sought and no contact will be directly awarded on the basis of this soruces sought. Any infromation submitted by respondents to this Sources sought shll be voluntary. 

The following is a list of expending services, this list is subjecct to chnage based on information gather. 

Class 3 Dental Treatments for Soldiers (as identified by VAARNG). Dental treatment authorized is outlined in Army Techniques Publication (ATP) 4-02.19 and Appendix 1. These services will be completed at contractors professional office unless other specified in a separate written agreement. Contractor will assure that procedures are done accordane with Federal/State Regulations. 

• Acute gingivitis or pericoronitis.
• Active progressive, moderate, or advanced periodontitis.
• Periodontal abscess.
• Progressive mucogingival condition.
• Periodontal manifestations of systemic disease or hormonal disturbances.
• Heavy subgingival calculus.
