Financial Management Oversight (FMO) program

The United States (U.S.) Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is seeking vendors to assist with financial management oversight reviews (FMOs) concerning recipients of various sizes as further described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).  FMO services ensure that FTA can continue to discharge its financial management oversight responsibilities. This effort facilitates FTA compliance with Congressional direction to conduct independent financial assessments. FTA is charged with assisting the recipient community in meeting a high level of financial capacity needed to implement new start projects. Further, FTA requires assurances that grantees have sound financial management systems and adequate internal controls to manage the Federal funds.
